I V-Wing partivano dagli hangar delle navi da guerra in grandi sciami, ed è stato uno dei più numerosi [[caccia stellari]] della [[Marina Republicana]] nel tardo delle [[Guerre dei Cloni]]. Non avendo la potenza dell'[[Caccia stellare Aggressive ReConnaissance-170|ARC-170]], la [[Kuat Drive Yards|KDY]] ha fatto in modo che il suo asso vincente fosse la velocità, l'accellerazione e l'agilità.
