Tra i casi più particolari c'era quello del potere posseduto da un discendente di Darth Vader, [[Cade Skywalker]]. Era un'abilità che permetteva di resuscitare i morti, a prezzo di un forte stress emozionale. Cade Skywalker pensava che questa capacità potesse derivare solo da una totale immersione nel Lato OScuro, ma il suo ex maestro, [[Wolf Sazen]], dimostrò che tutto poteva essere fatto grazie a un duro adestramento nel Lato Chiaro della Forza. Anche [[Darth Krayt]] apprese questo potere, combinando le conoscenze di [[Karness Muur]], [[Darth Andeddu]] e Skywalker, e fu ciò che gli permise di salvarsi dalla morte.
