Il 212esimo Battaglione d'Attacco era un'unità del Grand'Esercito della Repubblica composta da soldati clone sotto il comando delComandante Maresciallo clone Cody e del Generale Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi durante le Guerre dei Cloni. I soldati del 212esimo si distinguevano dal colore arancione sulle loro armature, il battaglione era diviso in altre unitá piu piccole come la Compagnia Ghost e la Squadra Parjai. L'unità era compresa nel 7imo Corpo Aereo della Terza Armata dei Sistemi.
Storia
Nel mezzo della Guerra, i cloni del 212esimo combatterono in numerose battaglie per tutta la Galassia e parteciparono all'attacco del pianeta Utapau nel 19 BBY. Fu durante questa battaglia che venne proclamato l'Ordine 66 dall'ormai Imperatore Palpatine e il Maestro Obi-Wan venne attaccato dai suoi stessi soldati e dal suo anche amico Cody. Kenobi sopravvisse e scappò con la nave di Grievous. Il 212esimo venne riassegnato e diventò una delle prime unitã di Assaltatori Imperiali a servizio del neo-Impero Galattico.
Dopo il battaglione venne inviato su Teth per favorire e dare manforte alla Compagnia Torrent, inviata là il giorno prima per salvare Rotta the Hutt rapito dalla CSI nel tentativo di procurarsi le rotte controllate dagli Hutt.
