Teta fu Imperatrice del sistema di Koros, intorno al 5000 BBY.
Nata in nobile famiglia, conquistò il potere su Koros Major, per poi lanciarsi in una serie di guerre d'unificazione contro gli altri sistemi del settore, uscendone vittoriosa e dominando la zona abitata più vicina al Nucleo Profondo.
Partecipò alla Grande Guerra Iperspaziale, schierandosi con la Repubblica Galattica.
Per l'importanza della sua leadership il sistema venne ribattezzato alla sua morte "Imperatrice Teta".
