Il linguaggio Sith era la lingua nativa della specie omonima insediatasi sui pianeti di Ziost e Korriban. Nei secoli successivi, il Sith subì una profonda evoluzione, dovuta soprattutto all'arrivo della seconda generazione di Jedi Oscuri dopo la Battaglia di Corbos e la loro conseguente separazione dall'Ordine nel 7.000 BBY. Persino in seguito all'estinzione della specie Sith, il linguaggio continuò a sopravvivere negli holocron Sith, nei templi e nei loro scritti, nonchè dalla sua moderna conoscenza di personaggi come Vergere, Dr'uun Unnh e Jerec. Probabilmente il Signore Oscuro dei Sith Darth Nihilus si esprimeva ancora in questa lingua antica. Il linguaggio era formato da un sistema di geroglifici barbarici. A casua della loro stretta connessione con la specie Sith, è possibile che i Massassi usassero lo stesso metro di comunicazione.
